Controls when divisional vs. crossover games appear. Choosing Front for one auto-sets the other to End. Mixed interleaves both throughout the season.

Coverage rule is off. Teams will be grouped randomly with no attempt to balance opponent variety.

Host assignment is off. The first team in each pod will host with no rotation or load balancing.

After assigning home/away, the scheduler scans each team's sequence. If a team would exceed the limit, it swaps that game's home/away with their opponent. If no valid swap exists after balancing, a note appears in the Audit log. With an odd number of teams, BYE weeks may make perfect alternation impossible — this is expected behavior, not an error. Max 1 enforces strict alternation — best for small conferences with even team counts.
